Christina has tagged me for some internet fun. I feel so special. I have never been tagged before. I guess I have to tell you some interesting tidbits about myself and then tag some other people. So here goes.
1. I taught third grade for three years and my favorite subject to teach was handwriting, if that even is a subject. I also have terrible handwriting unless I am writing on a chalkboard.
2. Speaking of chalk…. I used to eat it when I was little. My mom had to call poison control once. When I was a teacher I loved the smell of chalk.
3. I met Larry when I was 14. We have known each longer than we have not.
4. If I had a boy baby I would have named him Zachary Edward because Larry liked that name.
5. I have a bald spot about the size of a dime on the back of my head. When I was born they broke my mom’s water and poked me on the head. I know…that explains a lot. It’s a good thing I have a lot of hair.
6. My favorite flowers are daisies. Any kind. Feel free to send me some.
7. I killed my hamster when I was three by hugging it to death. It was an accident. I was just a little excited. (My mom tells this story. I have blocked it from my memory. I only remember the good times with Hammy.)
8. I always wanted to be a boy. When I was six I would take my shirt off outside when I was hot. I wanted to be like my brother. If he could do it I could too. My mom clued me in that it was unacceptable for girls to go shirtless. Thanks mom.
I tag anyone that has not been tagged yet and can’t think of anything to write.

Tomorrow is my husband’s 35th birthday. Please do me a favor, as a present to him, go and leave him a comment on his blog. It would be great if there would be 35 comments. One for every year he has been alive.
He won’t even know I’m asking you to do this since he always forgets to read my blog. He does read other Mom bloggers. In fact, he even nominates them for awards like “Hottest Mom Blogger.” He swears it wasn’t meant to be about her looks. It means her blog is hot right now.
So please. All 20 of you go and make his geekiness happy. Leave a comment or two.

Larry, the happy house husband had finally done it. He has succeeded in becoming a better mom than I am.
He has received a shout out on a Mom blog. And not just any Mom blog. She has been on TV, people. She is famous. And she linked to my Geekbert.
I have not seen Larry so excited since Mac OS X came out. He has had Blog envy over my traffic for some time now. It’s a little contest we have going. Some couples go out on dates or talk to each other. We just compare blog stats and leave comments on each others blog.
He had more hits on his blog this morning than I did.
That’s it. I’m getting him a mother’s day present.
Hmm. Maybe some nice underwear.
